Your Guide to Staying at Ballintrae

Everything you need to know before you arrive.

Please check in and out at the times agreed with your booking. Keeping to these times allows our cleaning staff to attend to the property between guests, so we can keep it in great condition for the next arrival.
There are two entry gates to the property - one on A'Beckett Road and one on Drake Court. Use the timber post switch to open a gate; two identical switches inside the property operate the gates when you're leaving. Gates close automatically after a few minutes, so there's no need to wait. Your key is in the key lock safe at the side door between the Gaming Room and the main door, up the concrete stairs. The key-safe code is sent by SMS to the mobile number used for your booking. Please return the key to the safe when you leave, and keep the white gate between the stairs and the outside toilet closed at all times.
Wi-Fi access details are provided to guests after check-in, through the guest information provided with your booking.
Guests are welcome to use the kitchen appliances and utensils during their stay. Please give everything a clean and return it to where you found it before you check out.
The living and dining rooms flow together as one open space. The main dining table seats 8, with two additional 6-seater tables available for larger groups.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property.
The gaming room has a pool table with a table tennis conversion, a poker table, a carrom board and a giant chess set. Please leave all equipment clean and stored as you found it.
The 8-seat outdoor table and garden furniture are there for you to enjoy the grounds. Upon request, a 6 x 3m popup marquee, 20 tables and 40 chairs may be available for special occasions during your stay, subject to the property's rules. Please note: no bonfires from November through April, due to bushfire restrictions and penalties.
Please park on the roadways or behind the large tree near the equipment shed. Do not park on the lawns.
The horse paddocks and the shed near gates 3 and 4 are not part of your booking. Guests are welcome to use the road/track down to the creek at the back boundary, but please don't disturb the animals or cross or touch the equine fencing. Warning: the white equine fencing wires are ELECTRIFIED.
There are 3 garden bins, 2 recycling bins and 2 general waste bins on the property.
